Most people know Chiropractic to be a safe and effective form of treatment for back and neck pain, but those who have had some experience with it know this is just the tip of the iceberg of what chiropractic can do for the body.  This being said, many people’s experiences with chiropractic differ greatly, as there are a vast number of techniques and methods that fall under the ‘chiropractic’ banner.  The majority of chiropractic techniques are aimed at increasing joint and muscle flexibility and movement, and reducing pain.

At BodyWorks Chiropractic in Norwest, we have adopted the Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC) technique. The foundation of ABC is in structural corrective care, which means that our focus is on improving a patient’s structure and alignment for long term and lasting correction of problems and injuries.  An ABC adjustment involves the use of a unique protocol, which incorporates meningeal stretches and a specific sequence gentle spinal, pelvis, limb and rib adjustments to correct misalignments of not only the spine, but the entire body.

Although nearly every patient will find postural improvements very early on in their care (often in the first session!), many other symptoms and conditions, apart from back, neck and joint pain can be improved, such as, but not limited to:

Sinus conditions
Breathing Difficulties
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Migraines and Headaches
Disc Herniations
RSI Injuries
Upper and Lower Cross Syndromes
Colic in Babies

ABC is a “hands on” or “manual” method that is safe for people of all ages, including expecting mums!

Chiropractic is recognised by all Private Health Funds and additionally is covered by Medicare in some circumstances as a part of a Enhanced Primary Care Plan from your GP.
